Our in-person meetups provide a safe and supportive space for families, supporters and carers to connect, share experiences, and find strength together. Whether you need guidance, encouragement, or simply someone who understands, our community is here to support you every step of the way. Join us to build connections, access valuable resources, and navigate this journey with others who truly understand.
Our meet ups are hosted by member of our community, a partner, parent, friend of a first responder with a work place injury in a peer to peer connection model. Meet ups are not a space for counselling or therapeutic care but rather a space for connection, comfort and understanding through shared lived and living experience.

We know that sometimes getting out of the house can be difficult when you are supporting a loved one with a first responder workplace injury. Sometime distance and isolation can be challenging. That is why we have created our online chat ups.
Online catch ups are relaxed, social and provide information and conversation about a range of issues faced by our Living Alongside community – such as self care, feeling isolated or shut out, secondary traumatic stress. We also have guest speakers from time to time join us to deepen our understandings and conversation.
